TRAINEES
Centre for Aging SMART (Solutions for Mobility, Activity, Rehabilitation and Technology) at Vancouver Coastal Health hosts an established Trainee Committee that is for trainees, by trainees. They actively facilitate learning and social opportunities with fellow trainees who represent over 15 academic disciplines. The culture of collaboration and integration supports learning from one another and the world-class faculty based at the Centre.

The Aging SMART Trainee Committee aims to promote academic, professional and social development for trainees, enhancing their learning experience and fostering a support network at the centre.
Our Members
The trainee committee is comprised of trainees (Masters, PhD, and postdocs), Faculty Liaison, an Operations Liaison, and other Centre Trainees or Staff that volunteer to serve the trainee community.

Prospective Trainees
Undergraduate or graduate students who seek an opportunity to train with Centre faculty are encouraged to link their interests with those of specific faculty members and contact the faculty member directly through their home academic departments.
