My main research focus is the development and evaluation of machine learning methods for analyzing health data, particularly medical images, with application to early diagnosis, prognostication of clinical outcomes, and biomarker discovery. I work in several different disease domains, including neurodegeneration, atrial fibrillation and heart failure, obstructive lung disease and lung cancer. Most of these conditions have relevance to healthy aging.
