Dr. Molly Cairncross is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University, Associate Member of the Rehabilitation Research Program (VCHRI), and Affiliate Investigator at BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Cairncross earned her doctorated in Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology) at the University of Windsor in 2019. In 2019-2021, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at UBC studying prognosis and treatment in concussion across the lifespan. She is the director of the CORTECH Lab at SFU, where her team studies risk and resilience factors associated with outcomes from concussion. She uses both quantitative, qualitative, and patient-oriented research methods to develop accessible tech-based interventions for concussion.
